The 2025 Players' Championships at Cold Springs

Cancellation: Players may cancel up to 72 hours prior to tee time (9:00 am on Friday) to receive a refund of the entry fee, minus a $6.00 cancellation fee. After 9:00 am Friday, no refund. To withdraw from the event after it is closed, edit your registration (there is a "cancel" option), if you need help email the tournament director, Chas Prior (chasprior51@gmail.com).
Shotgun start at 9:00am. Be at your cart by 8:45am for instructions before heading out to your starting hole. We will be playing from the "Combo Long" tees, 5776 yards. We will have our "ERMGC" markers identifying each hole's tee markers.
Range: The range will be open by 7:30am, we will not have check in, be at your carts by 8:45am for announcements. Cold Springs is not an easy course to walk, but If you are walking and start at a hole that is away from the clubhouse (not 1 or 10), please head out early to get to your starting hole.
Food & Beverage: The restaurant/bar is located near the pro shop and will be open during the round for your food/beverage purchases. We will meet after the round for lunch in the restaurant/bar.
Dress Code: As with all of our away events at country clubs, we must abide by their dress code: proper golf attire - no denim, and a collared shirt, tucked in.
Pace of Play: With a large field, pace is usually an issue. Do your best to keep up with the group in front of you. Play ready golf, drop your cart partner off at his ball, then go directly to yours. If someone in your group has a shot in a penalty area, hit your ball first, then go help look for his. Do what you can to be ready to hit your next shot as soon as possible. Out of bounds or lost balls have two options: you can use Local Rule E-5 for Out of Bounds and Lost Balls instead of hitting a provisional ball (see Player Notice) or hit a provisional shot BEFORE leaving the area where you hit the first shot.
Scoring: Players are expected to download the GolfGenius app. The GGID will be texted to each player, the morning of the event and will be printed on the back-up cards provided to each pairing group.
· Within the group, ONE player should enter scores finto Golf Genius and another in the other cart should keep the backup card.
· Individual gross hole scores are to be recorded. Any player not completing a hole should record his most likely score (e.g. 7X). Any player not completing a hole is DQ'd from flight awards, but may compete in any optional games.
· At the end of the round, all players in the group must confirm that hole-by-hole scores posted online are correct and match the backup scorecard. This can be done using the group's scoring app and scrolling through each hole, the Leaderboard in the app or online in this event portal. Each player will receive an automated email immediately after the final score is entered into the application, showing the individual hole-by-hole results.
· ONE HOUR after all groups have completed their mobile scoring, scores for that round are OFFICIAL. Any issues with scores must be communicated to the Committee staff via text, call or email no later than one hour after your pairing group's completion of mobile scoring. Posting: The tournament chairman will post your scores for you following the round; do NOT post your own tournament score.
One reason we get to keep playing these great country club courses is that we take care of the course during our tournaments. Please keep up the good work of taking care of the course during play. No one wants to hit out of a fairway divot, or putt thru a ball mark on the green. Please be considerate of the players behind you.
