This year we are teaming up the with Bethesda Mobile Community Clinic. They are a 501c3 non-profit Mobile Healthcare Clinic in Pickens County.

 

They provide free healthcare services, medications, labs, health education, and mental health counseling to anyone in need. They serve in Pickens, Cherokee, Cobb, and Gilmer Counties. They serve anyone in need of care and do not turn anyone away. Most of the patients they care for are women, but they serve all ages and all people. 

Their mobile clinic in Jasper is on the first Wednesday evening of every month at the First Baptist Church in downtown Jasper. This is one of their newer sites and typically see between 10-20 patients there each month but are growing fast. This mobile clinic provides all the medical care for the Ruth House, as well as many other recovery organizations in the community. 

 

Our very own Colleen Murphy’s Brother-In-Law Dr. Peter Morrow is one of the volunteers for the Mobile Clinic.
