Official Time
The official time, which determines start times and other timing reference for the event, is displayed on the ‘Starter Clock’ which is set to the U. S. Naval Observatory Master Clock and is located on the starter’s table at the first tee.

Entry Info & Terms of the Competition
Entry Fee
$260.00 per team – includes carts and range balls
Entry Open/Close
Entries Re-opens Saturday, Monday, June 16 at 9:00 AM. Entries received before this date will be returned. Entries close Monday, August 11 6:00 PM. No e-mail entries accepted. Refunds: If a team withdraws by the closing date and time - refund is subject to a $25.00 admin fee. If a team withdraws after that date and time, no refund will be given.
Entry Limit
The 46 teams with the lowest combined handicap indexes.
Eligibility
Teams shall consist of one male mid-amateur golfer and one male senior golfer. The Mid-Am team member must be between the ages of 25 and 54 as of August 18, while the senior team member must be at least 55 years old by August 18. The combined handicap index of the partners may not exceed 18.0 at time of entry.
At least one partner must be a member of an MAGA member club. Partners do not have to be from the same club.
Format
This a Four-Ball Stroke Play competition. Mid-Ams will play from approximately 6,291 yards (Black Tees) and Senior Ams from approximately 6,077 yards (Blue Tees).
Rules of Golf, Close of Competition
Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA and the R & A. The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the Committee.

Awards - Play-offs
The winning team shall receive crystal prizes and merchandise certificates. Other low scoring teams shall receive merchandise certificates as determined by the MAGA Executive Committee. First place ties will be resolved by a hole-by-hole play-off immediately upon completion of play and approval of scores by the Committee. All other ties will share equally in a split of the award totals for the tied places.
If more than two teams are tied for the last prize position, only two teams will share that prize amount. A match of cards using the USGA recommended method will be used to determine those two teams.
Starting Times
Starting times will be e-mailed to all contestants and posted on the event portal shortly after close of entries.
To help with ease of travel, the first time of the day will be at 9:00 AM
