TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
The NAGT Queen City AM Tour proudly returns to Arnold Palmer's Oasis for the Open! The 3rd leg of the Greater Cincinnati Grand Slam Major Championship series! Players will compete in a 18 hole gross scoring format to play for a flight championship! All will earn player of the year points, flight awards, and side games. The Tournament prize pool is expected to exceed $5k! Our tour and this tournament are OPEN TO ALL; no membership is required to register.
Your tournament entry fee includes a greens fee, cart fee, range balls, flight prize pool set at $20 per player, and our tournament fees which covers our tournament software, trophies, and operating fee. Thank you for your support of our local business!
PLAYER INFO; a player preview will be emailed out a few days before the event and feature details around rules, contests, conditions, pairings, yaradges, etc.
Registration Opens and hour before the first tee time. All players are expected to check in with our staff at least 45 minutes before your tee time.
*Tee Times can be found on the Players Information tab above along with a email and text before the event. Check all communication on tee times here and subscribe to mobile alerts for any last minute changes.
Arrival, please report to the Red Registration Tent
Registration deadline is 3 days before the event, sign up with a credit card online, or text Matt Johnson at 513-340-1675 to pay cash at check in and or redeem a tout credit and I will manually enter you ahead of time.
*All tour credits must be claimed within a year of being issued and will not be accepted once expired. If you have a tour challenge coin those can be used anytime for entry and or side games, simply present those at check in.
Warm Up, course practice areas
Range and all practice areas open an hour before the first tee time.
Start of Play, be cart ready with your pairing partners and within earshot of the 1st tee box at least 15 minutes before your tee time. Once the group in front of you tees off, you can make your way to our White Starters tent for all relevant tournament instructions and local rules.
*Please do not come to the tee box until your tee time so that we can focus on getting all players out in time.
Scoring, at the end of play please report to the blue tent or scorers table inside for any ruling questions or to confirm your in contention to win your flight. If your tied for the flight lead you will be sent out for a on course sudden death playoff. Flight winners will be awarded on site while all other top finishers, skins, skills and raffle winners will be shared post round and paid within 24 hours of the events end. You don't need to stick around unless you are the flight winner so please travel safe.
The NAGT does our best to "go green" and will not issue scorecards but instead use Live scoring through our tournament software as the official scoring. Players should load the Golf Genius app which will be used to conduct LIVE scoring. Players will receive a GGID code to score and can locate that code on a pre-event pairings email, text, and or cart sign.
OPTIONAL SIDE GAMES; pay at check in with cash or mobile payment.
Pricing is per contest below:
- $10 Field Skins Game; full field combined. Gross scoring. 100% paid back to the players.
- $10 F1-F3 and a F4-F6 Skins Game using 75% Net hcp eagle or better; 100% paid back to the players.
- $20 Skills Contest; $20 per player offers you a chance to win in a variety of ways during your round in both gross and net formats broken out by full field, tee box, and flights
- Medalist awards for Gross in Open and Senior. Net winners in Super Senior, and Hero(Veteran/First Responder)
- Par 3 contest by Tee Box
- Closest to the pin contests to help honor our Heroes and support local charities.
- $10 per chance Raffle; $10 gives you a chance to be a lucky winner of the events tour partner prize and helps support our "Champions Fore Charity" mission which benefits local charities and our local heroes.
Tournament Prizing-
- Tournament Winners decided by Flights; F1-F6 in both Open and Senior will win a ring from the ring king as well as Player of the Year points.
- Tournament Champions decided by Divisions; F1-F6 combines Open and Senior to boost the prize pool and payout of $20 per player in flight.
- Player of the Year Points Race and season long prize pool; all players earn valuable player of the year points towards your specific flight; Even if your tournament flight is combined with open and senior players you still earn points towards your specific open or senior flight based on your finish.
- Major Championships are boosted point events with Players earning local points in Flights and Major Points in Divisions!
Tournament Tee Boxes-
*In the event the open and or senior players are combined in a flight, seniors will play forward from a shorter yardage to help balance fair competition. Super Seniors occasionally will be moved up even further depending on yardage of tee boxes.
Tee Box assignments will be displayed here 3 days before the event and subject to change should conditions change the day of the event such as course conditions that warrant cart path only rules.
