11th GAM Net Chapman
The popular GAM Net Chapman has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Washtenaw GC.
Who: This Championship is open to amateur golfers who: (1) are individual members of the GAM at the time entries close, (2) if male, have a GAM/USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 36.4, (3) if female, have a GAM/USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 40.4 and (4) have combined team Course Handicap not exceeding 30 strokes for male teams, 32 strokes for mixed teams, and 36 for women’s teams. Both team members must be at least 18 years of age at the time of competition.

Where: Washtenaw GC
Format: This competition is a two-person team competition with handicaps known as Chapman Stroke Play in the USGA Handicap System. In Chapman Stroke Play, two competitors play as partners. Each partner plays from the teeing ground and plays the partner’s ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score and play that ball alternately to complete the hole. All Teams will compete in the same division against each other at the Championship.

Exempt Registration Status
The following players will be able to register for the tournament starting two weeks before the standard registration open date of Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM based on the criteria listed below. Players must register with the same partner with which they earned the exemption.
After Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM, these players will no longer have a reserved spot in the field. Players on the Exempt Registration List pay the full entry fee and all entry requirements still apply.
