Practice time to be booked by the Individual / School using the online booking system, link as below.

The online practice round booking timesheet will open at 6pm on Wednesday 12th March.

 

Other times

Other practice time will be available at Milltown Golf Club with best availability on Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays.

Please do not contact the Club with regard to booking practice until Thursday13th March or after.

 

Players are only entitled to one practice round.

Lunch

Golf Ireland will provide a post-round meal on Monday 28th April to players.

 

Caddies

Caddies are not permitted at the Irish Schools Championship.

 

Accommodation

Individuals / Schools are responsible for own booking if required.

 

Rules – Hard Card and Local Rules

Please note that Golf Ireland’s Hard Card / local rules will be available on the championship page of the website in April. 

Additional local rules (if any) will be advised at the event.

 

Dress Code

Smart casual golf attire is essential and in keeping with the high standards of the Clubhouse. Any type of footwear worn on the course is not acceptable in the Clubhouse. 

 

Spectators

Golf Ireland welcomes spectators and parents to all of its competitions. 

 

To ensure that all players feel comfortable on the course and enjoy their game these guidelines should be observed.

 

  1. Walk in the rough and maintain a distance of at least 25 yards from players.
  2. Acknowledge good shots by all players equally.
  3. Do not give advice or interact with players.
  4. Do not give rulings or call penalties on players.
  5. Do not disturb the play of others by moving or making noise.
  6. Be aware of the players in the groups behind.
  7. Do not move a player’s bag as this may be construed as caddying.  Breaches of these guidelines may be reported to the Tournament Office.
  8. Always be alert to incoming ball flights, irrespective of positioning relative to the line of play.  In this regard it is essential to be aware of play and activity both in front and behind.

 

Spectators attending Golf Ireland competitions assume full responsibility for all belongings carried onto the competition site and for their own personal safety.
