Format

The format for the Corporate Charity Challenge is a 4 Person Scramble using Net Team scores to declare the "Champion Golf Team" for 2025.  The Champion Team will win the Green Jackets and "Bragging Rights" for the next year!  This year will be 16 holes with 8 holes of CROSS COUNTRY SCRAMBLE (using Holes 1 to 10) and 8 holes of REGULAR SCRAMBLE (playing Holes 11 to 18)

Tees

All Men will play from the BLUE tees & WHITE flags (for cross country scramble), those aged 65 & Older can play from the WHITE tees & PINK flags.  All Ladies will play from the YELLOW tees & PINK flags.

Handicaps

Team Handicaps determined using 25% of the average of all four team members.  The course playing handicap will be added for all four players and divided by 8 to calculate the team handicap rounded to the nearest hundredths.  Teams with a combined playing handicap total of 50 or less will be adjusted down.

General Rules

  1. Each player must use at least THREE tee shots.
  2. All Players tee off and choose the best ball position of the four shots.  The golfer whose shot is selected "stands off"  while the other three players hit the next shot from within one club length and must be no closer to the hole.  This process continues until the ball is on the green where all four players putt.
  3. Post your gross score in both the Live Scoring App along with the printed scorecard after each hole.  Your Team Handicap will be deducted at the conclusion of play.
  4. REMEMBER, when your shot is selected you do not play the next one, except on the putting green where all four players putt.

Unique Rules

  1. Tee it Up Holes: All par 5 holes (# 3, 7, 12 & 16) each golfer "may" tee up the ball for any shot throughout the hole.  Be careful of the group to clear in front of you!
  2. Cliff Hanger: "Hole 11" difficult pin position.  Maximum score hole # 11 is a "six"
  3. Jacket Free Putt: "Hole 18" Once on the green choose "one golfer" for first putt.  That golfer must wear the Jacket for that putt not to count for Team score.  That putt must be played from wherever it stops.
  4. Maximum Score: On any hole the maximum score is "DOUBLE BOGEY"
  5. Closest to the Pin & Long Drive Contests: Closest to the Pin for ALL PARTICIPANTS (Holes # 2, 6, 8, & 15).  Hole # 17 is sponsored by Casablanca Casino and has two Closest to the Pin, one for MEN ONLY and one for WOMEN ONLY.  Hole # 18 has a Long Drive for MEN ONLY and one for WOMEN ONLY.

Ties

A Closest to the Pin playoff on Hole # 18 will be used to break a tie for the Overall Champion.  For all other ties the USGA method of the Best Back 9, 6, 3, 1 holes will be used.

Returning of Scorecard

Scorecards must be signed and returned to the Pro Shop staff in the clubhouse area immediately after play.  A player's scorecard is deemed officially returned when the player has left the scoring area and given the scorecard to a tournament official or staff member.  The printed scorecard is the official scorecard and must be signed and returned.  The live scoring app leaderboard is for information purpose only during play. We ask that teams mark their score in the app correctly after each hole to maintain accuracy for all participants.

Please Note:  Rule changes may occur (due to circumstances) different to those posted here.  The Rules Sheet handed out at registration will be the Official Rules and govern play of the tournament.
