Southwest Transit Equity Foundation is excited to announce our Charity Golf Event, taking place on June 30, 2025. This event comes ahead of a transformative milestone for our community—the launch of Norwalk’s comprehensive network redesign (NTD Ahead) on August 10, 2025.

 

This redesign will enhance transit service by increasing frequency, improving connections, and expanding single-trip availability, creating a more equitable and accessible transportation system for all. Proceeds from the tournament will directly support elderly and disabled organizations in southwest Connecticut, ensuring access to vital transportation services for those who need it most. Additionally, we aim to provide wheelchairs to the Norwalk Senior Center and Elderhouse, empowering their residents with greater mobility and independence. Join us in driving change and building a stronger, more connected community!

Course: Oak Hills Park Golf Course (Norwalk, CT)

Format: Scramble - Shotgun

Event: 18-hole green fees, cart, breakfast, lunch and much more! 

Entertainment: Raffles, Skills prizes, Awards Ceremony after dinner

Contest: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Putting Contest

Start Time: 10:00 am

Cost: $175 per person / $700 per foursome
