Grab a partner and get your game sharpened up to make it to the 35th GAM Net Team Championship at Clio Country Club.

At least 8 teams will advance to the Finals.

 

Who: This Championship is open to amateur golfers who: (1) are individual members of the GAM at the time entries close, (2) if male, have a GAM/USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 36.4, (3) if female, have a GAM/USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 40.4 and (4) have combined team Handicap Index not exceeding 45 strokes for male teams and 50 strokes for mixed teams. Both team members must be at least 18 years of age at the time of competition.  Players may compete on only one team.

Format: This competition is a two-person team competition with handicaps known as Four-Ball Stroke Play in the Rules of Golf (Rule 23). In Four-Ball Stroke Play, two competitors play as partners, each playing his or her own ball. The lower net score of the partners is the team score for the hole. (This form of play is often referred to as “Best Ball”). All Teams will compete against each other in each wave. There will be no women’s teams. Per World Handicap System recommendations, all players will receive 85% of their course handicap in this Four-Ball Stroke Play competition. No reductions will be made based on the difference in course handicap between teammates.

 

Registration Opens: Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM

 

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, July 02, 2025 at 11:59 PM

 

Entry Fee: $220/Team

 

Exempt Registration Status: Players that meet the following criteria will be able to register two weeks before the standard registration open date of Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Players must keep the same partner to use the exemption. These players are not guaranteed a spot in the field if they do not register by the standard registration open date.

 

1. Qualified for the Finals of the GAM Net Team the previous year.

2. GAM Net Team Finals Champion in the previous three years.
