Event Overview 

 

Entries Open: April 1, 9:00

 

Entries Close: September 15, 5:00

 

Registration Fee: $225 per player (includes range fees and lunches). Carts for the first round are included. Carts rounds 2-4 must be paid in the golf shop prior to each round.

 

Men's Format: Four rounds of match play. Players will be seeded by their position on the 2025 Senior and Super-Senior Amateur Player of the Year standings.  Each division will begin with 16 players.

 

Women's Format: Three rounds of match play. Players will be seeded by their position on the 2025 Senior and Super-Senior Amateur Player of the Year standings.  Both the Senior Division and Super Senior Division will begin with 8 players.

 

Invited/Exempt Players: Men's Senior Flight- the top 14 players from the 2025 Senior POY list, the host club's Senior Champion and the 2024 Pennsylvania Senior Match-play Champion.  

Men's Super-Senior Flight- the top 14 players from the 2025 Super-Senior POY list, the host club's Super-Senior Champion and the 2024 Pennsylvania Super-Senior Match-play Champion.  

Women's Senior Flight- the top 6 players from the 2025 Senior POY list, the host club's Senior Champion and the 2024 Pennsylvania Senior Match-play Champion.  

Women's Super-Senior Flight- the top 6 players from the 2025 Super-Senior POY list, the host club's Super-Senior Champion and the 2024 Pennsylvania Super-Senior Match-play Champion.  

 

Eligibility: Open to any amateur golfers who are Members of a PAGA Member Club or an Individual Member of the Pennsylvania Golf Association. Players must have competed in at least one Pennsylvania Golf Association event the current year. If the positions are not filled by players who have earned exemptions, then the entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Anyone who registers, but does not gain entry, will not be charged.

 

Men's Divisions: Senior (55 years of age or older) and Super-Senior (65 years of age or older)

 

Women's Divisions: Senior (50 years of age or older) and Super-Senior (65 years of age or older)

 

Field: Limited to 16 entries in each Men's division and 8 entries in each Women's division

 

Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is permitted. Cart fees for the first round are included.

 

Food & Beverage: A lunch buffet will be provided each day of competition from approximately 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is included in the entry fee. Additional F&B purchases will be available.

 

Practice Rounds: Practice rounds are available on the weeks prior to the event.  Please call the golf shop at Chambersburg Country Club (717) 263-8296 to schedule a time. There will be limited availability on September 28th due to an event at the club.

Start Times: Approximately 8:00 and 12:30 for each match each day.  

 

Prizes: The winner of the final match will be awarded the title of Senior Amateur Match Play Champion and Super-Senior Amateur Match Play Champion. Additional Prizes will be awarded to the runner-up and Semifinalists.
