2019 LGA Club Team Championship

Team competition between LGA Member Clubs represented by six-man teams (five club members and one of the club's professionals or six club members). Professionals that are not on the club facility's staff but are dues-paying members at the club are entitled to serve as that club's professional representative. All scores will be at scratch (no handicaps). Participants must be Louisiana residents (as of at least 90 days prior to the Championship).
FORMAT: Saturday's play to consist of three 4-Ball teams per Club Team. Best two 4-Ball scores will count as Club Team's score. Sunday's play to consist of individual play. Best four individual scores will count as Club Team's score. Winning Club Team determined by low total of two 4-Ball and four individual scores for the tournament.
ENTRY DEADLINE: April 16, 2019, 5 PM
Limited to the first 32 teams (one team per club unless field is not full by deadline date/club's additional team(s) may be reserved by forwarding entry fee to LGA office/entry priority based on date entry fee received). May also reserve team entry via online registration. Team members may be edited up until April 26, 2019.
ENTRY FEE: $750 per team
REFUND POLICY: Entry fee will be refunded for team withdrawal if LGA office is notified, in writing, before the close of entries. No refunds for withdrawals after the close of entries. A $150 service charge will be deducted from all refunds.
DRESS CODE, CELL PHONES: Competitors must be neat in appearance and wear appropriate attire. No gym shorts, cutoffs, blue jeans, tee shirts, etc. Shorts must be Bermuda length. Use of cell phones, including those used as Electronic Measuring Devices, is prohibited on the course during the competition (The Committee reserves the right to disqualify a competitor for a breach of the policy regarding cell phone usage; See USGA Rules of Golf Decision 33-7/8). Important Note: Greystone Golf & Country Club is a spikeless facility and all competitors will be required to wear spikeless shoes.
ELIGIBILITY: Entries are open to any Member Club of the Louisiana Golf Association in good standing (2019 club and individual dues must be paid). Each team shall consist of six players (i.e., five amateur club members and one of the club's professionals on staff or six amateur club members). All scores will be gross scores (no handicaps). Participants must be Louisiana residents (as of at least 90 days prior to the Championship). Entrants must be 18 years of age by April 26, 2019.
PRACTICE PRIVILEGES: Practice privileges are extended to participants in the Championship at Greystone Golf & Country Club on April 26. Cart fee paid by LGA.
PRIZES: Rotating Club Team Championship Trophy plus permanent crystal trophy for club and individual trophies for winning team. Top three teams will also receive gift certificates redeemable at Greystone Golf & Country Club.
RULES OF GOLF: Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf and LGA Rules of Play Card. All questions will be settled by the LGA Rules Committee, whose decision will be final.
