Match Play Rules & Information

 

ALL MATCH PLAY SCORES ARE TO BE TURNED IN TO THE GOLF SHOP. 

 

• The Golf Shop will post your score as a tournament score hole by hole. Please return scorecards to the Golf Shop after play.
   
• Players signed up to compete in tournaments/Match Play events are expected to have an up-to-date and accurate handicap. Players not complying with posting rounds daily cannot participate and will be asked to withdraw from the competition.
   
• All members in club tournaments/match plays will have their handicaps monitored prior to events by the Golf Shop team. This is to ensure fairness to all competitors in the event.

 

Match Play Date Deadlines:

 

Round 1- May 31

Round 2- June 28

Round 3- July 30

Round 4- August 31

Round 5 (Fifth Flight)- September 28

• Third Flight – Silver Tees (full handicap) Defending Champion: Hayden Ordel
   
• Fourth Flight – Silver Tees (full handicap) Defending Champion: Keenan Charles
   
• Fifth Flight – Silver Tees (full handicap) Defending Champion: Tom Kay

Qualifying is not required 

 

The “Bracket” will be determined by handicap index with 16 players in each flight
