Register now for 2025 Guelph Open: Victoria East Park GC

1 – FORMAT/PLAYER INFORMTATION:

  • Play will be 54-holes of stroke play with a minimum guaranteed $TBD purse. Play shall be governed in accordance with the Rules of Golf of the R&A, USGA and Golf Canada, with changes by TPT/OWPT Tour Local Rules. Each player will receive a Terms of Conditions Card at the beginning of each event for their own awareness. All rules’ questions will be settled by the on-site Rules Committee and all decisions will be final. TPT/OWPT reserves the right to change the format, venue(s), qualifying spots, and purses due to change in weather conditions or other circumstances.
  • Starting Times – All starting tee times will be posted 48 hours before the event – an email will be sent out to all players prior as well as posted on the website. It is the responsibility of the player to provide the most accurate contact information. Round 2 starting times will be posted after the completion of round 1 in order of standings.
  • All competitors must arrive 5 minutes prior to their tee time to complete registration and be ready to receive all the information for the round. Any ‘unready’ player after the set time above will get a 1 stroke penalty. Any player who is more than 5 minutes after their tee time, they will be disqualified (Rule 5.3a)
  • Distance Measuring Devices – Any scope, watch or mobile app devices are permitted (only distance feature may be used). Slope is prohibited to use in any competition round. Green Reading Books – A player is allowed to bring a yardage book for competition but needs to smaller than 4.25 inches by 7 inches. A player or caddie before a competition round on any day must not practice on the course or test the putting surface, either rolling a golf ball, scraping with club, etc.
  • Caddies – Caddies are allowed for competition rounds. Players are responsible for their caddies and must follow the proper conduct and rules during the round. Any intolerance may lead to a penalty stroke for the competitor.
  • Practice Rounds must be arranged with the Professional Shop. All the competitors must pay the designated rate provided by the host facility. All competitors in practicing rounds must be aware of other groups on the course and keep up with pace of play.
  • Conduct – All players and caddies shall conduct themselves in a professional manner. Any individual who disobeys this policy may be removed from the facility by either the host club or TPT/OWPT committee.

 

2- EVENT INFORMATION

  • Eligibility: All Professionals and Amateurs with a handicap factor of six (6) or less are welcome to participate in our events. All handicap factors will be checked before the deadline of the event and will notify any players if the requirement does not meet
  • Entry Fee:
    • Professionals & Amateurs (TPT Members): $760 plus tax
    • Professionals (PGA of Canada Members): $815 plus tax
    • Professionals & Amateurs (non TPT Members): $895 plus tax    
  • Entry Deadline:
    • The deadline for all events will be 5 days prior to the event. The deadline to register for the The Guelph Open is 11:59pm on June 19th, 2025
    • Any player who misses the deadline can sign up if spots are available by 11:59pm on June 21st, 2025 (2 days after) and will be charged a $50 late fee.
  • Refund Policy:
    • Any player who withdraws from the competition must contact the tournament director.
    • Any entries before the end of deadline will get a refund from their entry, however must pay a withdrawal fee of $50.
    • Any player who withdraws within 6 days of the event WILL NOT be refunded unless a medical exemption is made through illness or injury (medical doctor’s note required).
    • If a player qualifies for an event on another tour (PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Korn Ferry, Espon Tour, PGA Tour Canada, LatinoAmerica) and conflicts with our event, a full refund will be issued.
