Re: Alcohol and Substance Policy for Got Your 6 and PGA HOPE WNY Events

Effective immediately, alcohol, marijuana, and other recreational or intoxicating substances are strictly  prohibited at all PGA HOPE WNY and Got Your 6 programs and events.

This policy applies to every program and event conducted under PGA HOPE WNY and Got Your 6, including, but  not limited to:

• PGA HOPE sessions

• Got Your 6 Play Days

• The PGA HOPE Cup

• Clinics, outings, practices, social gatherings, and other related activities

Over the course of the program, PGA REACH WNY has received multiple complaints and reports involving  alcohol and substance use at Got Your 6 events. These concerns have been raised by participants, program  representatives, and host facilities. There have also been instances of individuals bringing their own alcohol onto  golf course property. Outside alcohol is not permitted at our host facilities and violates standard policies at golf  courses throughout Western New York.

Got Your 6 was created to continue the positive relationships, support, camaraderie, and impact established  through PGA HOPE. Alcohol, marijuana, and other recreational substances are not permitted during PGA HOPE  programming. As Got Your 6 is an extension of that program and its mission, the same expectations must apply.

This policy is being implemented to protect the safety and well-being of all participants, preserve a welcoming  and respectful environment, support our PGA Professionals and staff, and maintain the trust of the golf courses  and facilities that make these opportunities possible. Our host facilities generously provide access to their  courses and resources, and all participants are expected to respect their rules, employees, members, and  property.

Participants may not bring, possess, distribute, or consume alcohol, marijuana, or other recreational or  intoxicating substances during any PGA HOPE WNY or Got Your 6 event. Participants may also not arrive at or  participate in an event while impaired.

Failure to follow this policy may result in immediate removal from the event and suspension or permanent  removal from future PGA HOPE WNY and Got Your 6 programming.

We recognize that Got Your 6 is an important community for many of our participants. This decision was not  made without careful consideration. It is necessary to ensure that the program remains safe, respectful,  mission-driven, and sustainable for everyone involved.

Thank you for your immediate cooperation and for helping us maintain the standards and purpose of PGA HOPE  WNY and Got Your 6.
