Thursday, June 5th

11:30 a.m. Shotgun Practice Round – Optional Team Net Best Ball 32 or better cash game(see supplemental rules)  Play from the Gold Balls*.

4:15 p.m. “The Round Up” – Optional team alternate shot horserace cash game(see supplemental rules) play from Gold Balls*

Optional Dinner following completion of “The Round Up”

 

FORMAT FOR THE ROUNDS: Play from the Snake Tees.  “Four Ball Stroke Play” two person teams with each team’s score being the “best ball” of the 2.  Each player plays his own ball.  Your team’s better score of either ball without subtracting handicap strokes is your team’s gross best ball.  Your team’s better score of either ball after subtracting handicap strokes is your team’s net best ball.

 

Friday, June 6th  

11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Team Check - In, Lunch Buffet, Warm Up, Pari-Mutuel Wagering, and Team Putting Contest.

 

12:30 p.m. Shotgun Round 1 – 1st Nine Play from the Snake Tees

Optional Cash Contest - Day Money – Team low net (will pay 30% of participating teams).  *For all play, competitors who are a minimum 70 years old may elect to play the white tees if their age+hdcp=85, and green tees if their age+hdcp=95.  Handicaps are adjusted accordingly.

 

3:15 p.m. Shotgun   Round 1 – 2nd Nine - Play from the Snake Tees.  The field is “re-paired” so you will play with different fellow competitors.

 

6:00 p.m.   Cocktails & Hors d’ oeuvres

 

 

6:30 p.m.    Dinner Buffet

 

 

Saturday, June 7th

7:30 a.m.  Warm – Up, Full Breakfast Buffet

 

9:00 a.m. Shotgun   Round 2 – 1st Nine –Play from the Snake Tees. Four ball stroke play (same format as round 1).  Optional Team Net (85% handicap) Skins game

 

11:15 – 11:30 am - Snacks at Staging Area and “Re-pairing” The field is “re-paired” so you will play with different fellow competitors.       

 

11:45 a.m. Round 2 – 2nd Nine – Play from the Snake Tees. 

 

2:00 p.m.  Lunch Buffet, Pari-Mutuel Wagering for The Shootout, Finals of TaylorMade Par 3 contest

 

3:15 p.m.  Shoot Out – The six teams with the best cumulative 36 hole scores (two low gross teams and four low net teams and ties plus wild cards*) will compete in a 4 hole (holes #1, #2, #17, #18), handicapped, alternate shot, Shoot Out to determine the final order of finish (If teams have placed in both gross and net divisions, the 2 lowest gross teams are determined first, then the 4 best low net teams are determined).  In the Shoot Out, the number of teams eliminated on each hole will be predetermined prior to the start and will be based on the number of teams who are in.  The top six Shoot Out finishers will be awarded Shoot Out prize money in addition to their 36 hole finish money. 

 

*wild card(s)- Low Net score for final 9 holes(front and back) and ties

 

5:00 p.m.  Awards Presentation on 18 Green

Handicapping for Both Days:  per U.S.G.A. guidelines you receive 85% of your adjusted handicap   

 

Entry Fee:  $900 per team includes all guest greens fees (including practice round), riding cart fees for Friday and Sat., all specified meals, golf, kitchen and grounds staff gratuities, as well as all on course beer and non-alcoholic beverages.  Not included: Beverages in the Clubhouse and Practice round riding Cart fees.
