Snake Quest 2025 Supplemental Rules

 

Thursday June 5th – Practice Round 11:30am SG

 

Optional Cash Game- 32 or better

 

 “Best Ball Quota” ($30 per team, per nine) Four ball stroke play (same format and handicaps you will use for the event).  The lowest net score of the two partners is the score for the hole.  The number of teams that shoot 32 or better on the front 9 will divide the front 9 purse or half of the total.  We’ll follow the same procedure for back 9.    Ex. If the total purse is $300.00 and three teams shoot a score of 32 or lower on the front 9 and two teams shoot 32 or lower on the back the payouts look like this-  Front 9 $50 per team,  Back 9 $75 per team. 

 

Thursday June 6th  – “The Round Up” 4:15pm SG

 

Optional Cash Horse Race- "The Round Up"

 

An optional team event this is a great warm up for the shootout as it is the same format. (many have not played in the finals before so this will hopefully get everybody a little more acquainted when and if they make it on Saturday as well as create some excitement)  The format is called “foursomes” or more commonly known as alternate shot.  In this format the team plays one ball alternating teeing grounds and alternating during the play of each hole.  The “Horse Races” take place over four holes and teams are grouped together based on combined handicaps of those choosing to participate.  Teams are informed prior to starting how many will be eliminated on each hole.  No chip offs, ties for last spot will move on to next hole.(i.e. if we are trying to start our second hole with 4 teams and we have 3 pars and 2 bogeys 5 teams will move on to #2)  Play will be from Gold Balls.*

 

Entry fee for the Horse Race will be $30 per team and payouts are for 1st and 2nd for each horse race.
