U.S. OPEN LOCAL QUALIFIER – FACT SHEET

REGISTRATION

All players must register in the Pro Shop at least 30 minutes before their qualifying round at Cutten Fields on Monday, May 12. 

 

 

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for the qualifying round will be available online on Saturday, May 10. 

 

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Players may book a practice rounds at Cutten Fields after 1:00pm on Sunday, May 11.  Local players may also book their practice round in the week leading up to the qualifier.

 

The cost of the practice round is $89 plus tax and players are responsible for securing their own tee times through the pro shop by calling 519-822-0402.  Each player is limited to one practice round.

COURSE INFORMATION

Below is a general idea of the yardage that players can expect for the qualifier:

Par:              71

Rating:         73.8

Slope:          130

 

A tentative hole-by-hole breakdown of yardages will be made available HERE.  Golf Canada will determine the final yardage for the competition 2-3 days out from the qualifier.  Golf Canada reserves the right to change the tees and yardages based on course and weather conditions.

 

 

ACCOMMODATIONS

TRANSPORTATION

Players are responsible for arranging their own transportation during the qualifier.  Golf Canada Members can save up to 25% off Avis base rates when making a reservation with Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number S662200.  Visit www.avis.ca/golfcanada to book a rental vehicle.

 

PRACTICE FACILITIES

The practice facilities will open at 6:30am.  Range balls are complimentary, courtesy of the host club.

 

 

CLUBHOUSE & FOOD SERVICE

The clubhouse will open at 6:30am.  The club will have coffee, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, etc. for purchase beginning at 7:00am.
