OGA Junior Golf Major Championship

 

The multiple- day competitions are tailored for more experienced players. All competitions are stroke play with the exception of the Oregon Junior Amateur.

 

 

EASTERN OREGON JUNIOR DETAILS

 

Dates: Friday, July 18th - Saturday, July 19th, 2025

Eligibility:

  • Must be an amateur between the ages of 8 - 18 years of age as of July 19, 2025
  • Must be a 2025 OGA Junior Golf Member 

 

Divisions:

 

All Boys and Girls 12 and older will play 18 holes.

All Boys and Girls 8 to 11 years old will play 9 holes.

 

  • Boys Open (14-18) must have a handicap index of 7.0 or below at entry deadline
  • Girls Open (12-18) must have a handicap index of 14.0 or below at entry deadline
  • Boys 12-14 | 15-18 (18 hole divisions)
  • Girls 12-14 | 15-18 (18 hole divisions)
  • Boys 8-11 (9 hole divisions)
  • Girls 8-11 (9 hole divisions)

 

Team Points are ONLY granted in the Open Divisions

 

Format: Individual Stroke Play Competition

 

Entry Fee: 18-Hole Divisions - $100 / 9-Hole Divisions - $70

 

Entry Includes:

  • 2 rounds of golf
  • Lunch both days
  • Trophies to the top 3 finishers in each division

 

Entry Deadline: July 2, 2025, 11:59 PM 

Entries are accepted according to the date and time of entry and entry fee. Late entries will be accepted and placed on an alternate list to fill spots if they become available up until a time that the OGA Staff establishes. Late entries will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by the correct entry fee, plus an additional fee of $15. Contestants must contact the OGA in order to submit a late entry.

 

Hotel Room Courtesy Block:

A hotel room courtesy block has been arranged at the Hampton Inn at La Grande for $209 per night. The cutoff date to book is Thursday, June 26th. Individuals have up to 48 hours prior to arrival to cancel their reservation if needed. If canceled within 48 hours arrival, one night of room/tax is charged. Here is how to book:
