INFORMATION

 

You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

 

QUALIFIER DATE: Tuesday, August 19

LODGING: Holiday Inn – 21500 West Road, Woodhaven (734) 362-0933.

 

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (734) 676-1944.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Qualifier contestants.

 

FOOD: The clubhouse will have food available for purchase.

 

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. A contestant may carry their bag or bring a caddie. Caddies must also walk. Carts are not permitted for caddies. Spectator carts are not allowed at USGA Qualifiers.

 

PRACTICE RANGE: Because West Shore G&CC does not have a practice range, players can use the practice range at nearby Grosse Ile G&CC before the round. Please use the left side of the driving range at Grosse Ile G&CC

 

PLAYOFF: In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions

 

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, please contact the USGA at (908) 234-2300 leading up to the tournament. If you must withdraw the night or weekend before then please contact the GAM at tournaments@gam.org. In the e-mail, please state your name, the event you are withdrawing from, and your reason for withdrawing. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future USGA and GAM competitions.
