A fun team competition at Battle Creek CC is a fall classic for some of the state's best amateurs.

 

Who: Entries are open to male amateur golfers who: (1) have an up-to-date GAM/USGA Handicap Index, (2) have individual Handicap Indexes not exceeding 5.4 strokes and (3) are individual members of the GAM at time of entry. 

 

When: Wednesday, September 24, 2025

 

Where: Battle Creek Country Club

 

Format: This competition is a two-person team competition known as Four-Ball Stroke Play in the Rules of Golf (Rule 23). In Four-Ball Stroke Play, two competitors play as partners, each playing his own ball. The lower gross score of the partners is the team score for the hole. (This form of play is often referred to as “Best Ball.”) THIS IS NOT A NET TOURNAMENT.
