9 a.m. shotgun start for morning wave, 2 p.m. approximately for afternoon wave

 

CHAMPIONSHIP DATE: Wednesday, Sept. 24^th

 

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: If a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.

PRACTICE ROUND: For practice rounds, please contact the golf shop for rates and availability - (269) 962-8734. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Four-Ball Championship contestants.

 

FOOD: A buffet lunch is available for players between waves. The halfway house will have food available for purchase.

 

CADDIES/CARTS: This is a riding tournament. Only players can ride on carts. Spectator carts are only available if a doctor’s note is sent to the GAM (tournaments@gam.org) at least two days before the competition.

 

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, before play only.

 

PLAYOFF: If there is a tie for the wave champion, a hole-by-hole playoff will take place immediately after all scores are posted. A tie for the overall championship between teams from different waves is decided by the USGA Tiebreaker Method.
