2025 Nevada State Mid-Amateur Championship

FORMAT: 54-Hole Stroke Play (No Cut)
FIELD: Open to the first 24 players who register. Players registering after we have reached our maximum field size will be put on a waiting list.
COURSE ROTATION: Sunrise (Front 9) - Canyon (Back 9)
TEE TIMES:
- Tuesday (July 22) - Approximately 10:00-11:00 AM
- Wednesday (July 23) - Approximately 7:00-8:00 AM
- Thursday (July 24) TBD
ENTRY FEE: $350 - Includes three rounds of golf, golf cart, range balls, prize fund, and tee gift.
PRACTICE ROUND: The practice round rate for players competing in this event is $70 per player. You will need to contact the Spanish Trail CC pro shop to book a practice round. Please note that the course reserves the right to limit which days and times you may be allowed to book.
REGISTRATION:
- Opens to all eligible players on April 7, 2025 @ 9:00 AM
- Deadline: Closes on July 14, 2025 @ 5:00 PM
ELIGIBILITY:
- Open to all male members of the SNGA and NNGA who have reached the age of 25 on or before July 22, 2025.
- Players must have an active Handicap Index of 5.0 or less at the time of entry to qualify to participate.
PROJECTED YARDAGE: Please note that yardages are only projected. The committee reserves the right to alter yardages for any or all rounds based on a variety of factors including weather, course conditions, committee discretion, etc... NOTE: For purposes of this championship the golf course will play at Par 71. The 7th hole, which plays as a par 5 for the membership, will play as a par 4 for the championship.
EXEMPT PLAYERS:
- Top five players from the 2024 Nevada State Mid-Amateur
- Nevada State Mid-Amateur Champions from the past 5 years
- 2024 Nevada State Senior Amateur Champion
- Age eligible past champions from the last 10 years of the Nevada State Amateur Championship
WAGR: This event is a points counting event for World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points.
CADDIES: Please note that we DO NOT allow caddies for this event.
REFUND POLICY: After the established deadline for a Nevada State event, players can only receive a refund if there is a waiting list of players, and a wait listed player agrees to fill that spot. Cases such as death in the family or serious illness such as hospitalization can be reviewed on a case by case basis.
NOTE: There will be an automatic $25 processing fee associated with any refund issued for a cancellation prior to the registration closing date.
