Handicaps
Players must have at least ten (10) eligible scores in the Golf CanadaScore Centre within the past two calendar years to qualify for the Regional Final. All scores must be entered according to the Rules of Handicapping.
Score Entry & Integrity
Players are responsible for entering their scores on the Golf Genius app while playing with a witness who can attest to the accuracy of the round. Incorrect or falsified scores will result in disqualification (per Rule 3.3b).
Competition Format
This is a NetStableford competition, meaning no penalty for holes not completed. In Stableford competitions points are awarded in relation to a fixed score (more on that here). For uncompleted holes, the player should enter a net double bogey. All holes must be finished by holing the ball—no “gimmes.”
Players may enter up to 6 scores played on the specific dates provided. For the final leaderboard the best 4 Net Stableford scores will be used. Players who enter more than 6 scores may be disqualified.
Indexes will be updated the Friday before the weekend dates for play.
Provincial Final Qualification
The number of provincial qualifiers will depend on participation levels, and each qualified player can select a partner (with a valid Golf Canada handicap) to compete at the Provincial Final. Partners will be required to donate $25 to the First Tee – Prairies.
Provincial Final Details
The ProvincialFinals will be held between September 10 and October 5 at a premium golf course. An entry fee will be charged for participation.
