The BDO National Golf League is a nation wide competition designed for league play and using Net Stableford 9 hole scores.   

 

Although first designed for existing leagues at Golf Manitoba/Canada member clubs, Golf Manitoba and Golf Canada have expanded the concept to include more players and give a chance for every player in the province to participate.  If you would like to sign your league up for the National Golf League and guarantee that someone from your league qualifies for the Provincial Qualifier, please contact Doug Hastie at dhastie@golfcanada.ca.

 

How it Works:

 

  • Players register for the event (on the home page of this site)
  • Players will receive communication on how to download the Golf Genius app and log-in credentials. 
  • Players who have the Golf Genius app and a log-in, will not need a new one.
  • Players will then choose from the dates below to play their six (6) rounds of NGL qualifying.  They will enter into Golf Genius where and when they are playing. 
  • Players can play any Golf Canada facility in Manitoba and on any of the dates listed below.  
  • As they are playing (or directly after) players will enter their hole-by-hole scores into Golf Genius.  Only the front nine scores will be used. 
  • The top four (4) scores of each player will be used for the final leaderboard.  Players may not enter more than 6 scores.   
  • Players can check the leaderboard on this site at any time. Leaderboards will also be emailed out after every weekend of play.
  • A draw prize will be given out after each weekend of play.
  • The top finishers after the final round (August 24th) will qualify for the Provincial Final.  The number of qualifiers will be determined according to how many total players we get and will be finalized by August 1st. 
  • Each qualifier will pick a partner to compete in the Provincial Final.  They will compete as a two-person team in the 18-hole Net Stableford event.  
  • The qualifiers from the Provincial Final will play in the National Final in 2026 the Saturday before the RBC Canadian Open at the host facility.  Travel, food and golf are all taken care of by Golf Canada.
