Official Time

The official time, which determines start times and other timing reference for the event, is displayed on the ‘Starter Clock’ which is set to the U. S. Naval Observatory Master Clock and is located on the starter’s table at the first tee.

 

Please report to the first tee ten minutes before your start time.

 

Qualifying Spots

There are TWENTY-TWO (22) qualifying places available for the Championship.  There are six (6) alternate places. 

 

Ties and Play-Offs

Ties for the last qualifying positions and alternate spots will be broken by a hole-by-hole play-off.  Play-off will begin immediately upon conclusion of play and approval of scores. If weather prevents a play-off for qualifiers or alternates, ties will be broken by a match of cards using the USGA recommended method – last nine, last six, last three, last hole.
