Shotgun Start Time: 5:30 PM for all league play.

Specific Dates:

Qualifying: June 3, June 10

League Play: June 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15

League Tournament: July 22, 29, August 5

Make-up Dates: August 12, 19

Team Composition: 2-Man teams.

Match Format: Player A vs Player A, Player B vs Player B 

 

League Structure:

 

  • Capacity: 24 teams. 2Player Teams
  • League Size: 6 teams per Division.
  • Format: Own Ball Match play 10 Pts.
  • Nights of Play: 10 total nights.
    • 2 qualifying score nights.
    • 5 league play nights (match play).
    • 3 tournament nights (match play).
  • Tee Boxes: Men play from the BLUE TEES for qualifying. 

Qualifying Rounds (Nights 1 and 2):

  • Play your own ball format.
  • Individual scoring (not head-to-head match play).
  • Players must complete all 9 holes (no "gimmies").
  • Total 18-hole score (combined from both nights) determines league Handicap.
  • Tie-breaker: Course hole difficulty ranking.

League Play (Nights 3-7):

  • Head-to-head match play A vs A; B vs B.

Tournament (Nights 8 - 10):

  • Match play format.

League Rules

 

FORMAT This league will consist of 2-man teams. Teams will play match play against each other consisting of two separate individual matches where the two higher average players compete against each other and the two lower average players compete against each other. It is your responsibility to find a sub if you can’t make it. If your opponent does not show or fails to get a sub (substitutes are the player’s responsibility) you will play against bogie – no free points! .

 

POINTS There will be a 10 point system per match. 1 point will be awarded for each hole won (tied holes will give each player ½ point) 1 point awarded to match winner. Matches will be handicapped..    20 possible points per team per night

 

AVERAGES  Players will begin the season where their average is after qualifying.  Averages throughout the season will only be based on your last round with previous score eliminated.

 

NO SHOWS If a player does not get a sub and does not show, his opponent will play against bogie.  The player that shows up will have a distinct advantage but no “free” points. It is the player’s responsibility to find a sub. All first-time subs will begin by setting their average at a 5 handicap.
