Rules:

All tournament play is to be by USGA rules except for local rules below.

TEES: All players/flights will play from the ONE UP tees.

OUT OF BOUNDS: If a player hits a ball out of bounds, he has two choices. Option1: re-tee hitting 3 (normal USGA rule) OR Option 2: he can drop the ball two club lengths into the fairway from where the group decides the ball CROSSED the OB boundary (stroke, distance, +1 additional penalty stroke).

LOST BALL: Similar to the OB rule above, if a player loses a ball, he may replay the ball from the original spot, losing stroke & distance OR he may play from the spot upon which the group determined the ball most likely would have been, losing stroke, distance, +1 additional penalty stroke (as if he went back and re-hit the ball to that point).

LIFT CLEAN PLACE: Player may lift, clean, and place the ball at any point within one grip length in the fairway through the green.

ONE ROUND: The flexibility of tournaments are intended for guys to play on their own schedule and only intended for ONE round to be played per tournament. If you are NOT playing your round as a tournament round, you must tell your group before you tee off (if playing with other IGT members). Additionally, if the committee finds that guys are playing multiple "tournament" rounds and turning in their best score, they will be DQ'd for the remainder of the season.

QUESTIONS: If there are any questions/scenarios that need further clarification, play two balls and contact tournament staff at completion of round for official ruling.

GHIN: ALL TOURNAMENT ROUNDS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY POSTED TO GHIN AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE TOURNAMENT. PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR SCORE AS WE DON'T WANT THERE TO BE ANY DUPLICATES.

Good luck!
