COMPETITION DETAILS
ELIGIBILITY
Competitors: Three (3) junior girls per country (including one additional Canadian team).
This competition is open to female juniors who have not reached their 19th birthday by the last scheduled day of the championship (September 20th, 2025). Players must be members in good standing with their respective golf federation, and who are not playing on a university or college golf team.
Coaches and Delegates: One (1) coach (or Non-Playing Captain) designated as the team’s advice giver, as determined by participating golf federations.
PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES
22 countries have confirmed their participation in the 2025 World Junior Girls Golf Championship. Teams were invited based on their finishes at the 2024 World Junior Girls Championship and at the 2023 World Amateur Team Championship, and/or the average ranking of their top three (3) junior-aged players on the Women’s World Amateur Golf Rankings (WWAGR). In addition, Canada will enter two teams bringing the total participating teams to 24.

FORMAT
Team Competition – 72-hole Stroke Play
Individual Competition – 72-hole Stroke Play
Stroke Play – Team
- Each team will count their 2 lowest scores each day – these scores will represent their team total.
- The team champion is awarded to the team with the lowest aggregate total following 72-holes.
Stroke Play – Individual
- Each individual will post a gross score each day.
- The individual champion is awarded to the lowest aggregate individual total following 72-holes.
MAXIMUM YARDAGES
The course will play a maximum of 6,473 yards, par 72. A hole-by-hole breakdown of yards and metres is available here.
YARDAGE GUIDES
Each player and coach will receive a complimentary Strackaline yardage guide, containing detailed green maps.

TEAM REGISTRATION
Player and coach registration will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15th at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club.
Note: Teams will not be allowed to play a practice round if they have not registered. In the case of unforeseen travel delays, if this causes a team to miss their assigned practice round time, or if they are unable to make registration, please contact Tournament Director, Adam Cinel at acinel@golfcanada.ca.
OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUNDS
Players are entitled to two practice rounds at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club on Monday, September 15th and Tuesday, September 16th. Monday’s practice round tee times be from 8:30 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. off Holes 1 & 10. Tuesday’s practice round will be a 12:30pm shotgun. Tee times will be sent out in advance.

TEAM PHOTOS
Team photos will take place at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club in the Media Centre on Tuesday, September 16th, from 8:00am – 9:30am before the Opening Ceremonies.
OPENING CEREMONIES
The Opening Ceremonies will be held on Tuesday, September 16th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. During this time, there will be a welcome to all players and coaches and an introduction of the countries and teams. All competitors are encouraged to be in formal dress team attire for this event.
JUNIOR-AMATEUR GOLF SHOTGUN
Following the Opening Ceremonies on Tuesday, September 16th, players will have time to change into their golf attire and warm up before their second practice round. Each country will be paired with local amateurs for a 12:30 p.m. shotgun.
CLOSING CEREMONIES
The Awards & Closing Ceremonies will be held shortly after play concludes on Saturday, September 20th behind the 18th green. Teams and individuals that medal (top 3) should wear their formal team attire at the Awards Ceremony.
TEAM SERVICES
RENTAL VEHICLES (AVIS)
Please ensure you fill up your vehicle with gas before returning it at Toronto Pearson Airport. Teams may utilize following gas station near the course on Dundas St. will have an account that teams can charge gas to. If you have any issues or questions with your vehicle, please contact Sam Brown at sbrown@golfcanada.ca.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
During the competition, breakfast and lunch will be served at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club and will be covered by the Host Organizing Committee. Teams will be responsible for their own dinners and all meals outside of competition days. Teams are welcome to eat dinner at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club and credit cards are accepted.
LOCKERS & STORAGE
Lockers are available for all players and will be located in the Ladies’ Locker Room. Coaches may request lockers in the Men’s and Women’s locker rooms, however there is limited availability.
CADDIES & PULL CARTS
Caddies are NOT permitted during the championship. Players may carry their own bags or use a trolley or push cart, which are available on a complimentary basis at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club.
