Thank you for registering for the 2025 PGA of BC PING Tournament of Champions presented by Maui Jim Sunglasses. We are excited to welcome you to Fairview Mountain Golf Club in Oliver, BC, on Monday, May 26, 2025, as we open this year’s championship season.

Format:
18-hole Best Ball event. Each team consists of a Club Professional and a current club champion or designated amateur from the same PGA of BC facility. Both players play their own ball; the lowest score on each hole is the team score.
In the event of a tie for first place, a sudden-death playoff in alternate-shot format will take place immediately following play

Professional Purse

$9500 purse, including the $900 team skins game.

 

This year’s event will feature a skins game with a total purse of $900. Cheques for all skins earnings will be payable to the Professional in trust that the amateur’s share will be split in the form of golf shop credit to their host club.

 

Registration
Registration will be located outside the main entrance to the clubhouse and will open at 7:30 AM. Please ensure you check in upon arrival. As the Tournament of Champions has always been a special experience for participating amateur players, we will continue to offer amateur contestants a tee gift, which will be given at registration.

 

Fairview Mountain Restaurant:
The restaurant will be open for breakfast service prior to the round, please note a limited menu will be available. Fairview Mountain has graciously prepared a breakfast table that will be at registration, for anyone wanting to grab something quick. Please see below for all event menus.

Dress Code

The PGA of BC Dress Code Policy is in effect for Professionals in this Championship. All functions for the Championship, including the Practice Round, Championship Round and Lunch Reception will be Golf Casual. For clarification of what this entails, please visit our website.

 

Power Carts

Power Cart use is mandatory in this event and is covered by your entry fee.

 

Reception & Prize Presentation

A Championship Reception and Prize Presentation will be held following tournament play. Attendance is mandatory for all participants.
