Hotel Check-in and Check out: Check-in is from 3pm. Check-out is Noon.
Golf Bags at Check-in: When you check-in to the Resort, you will also need to leave your bag with the concierge. If you need to remove some stuff from your golf bag, you may do so in your room first, and then have a Resort Staff member take your clubs to the concierge.
Golf Bag Tags: Players will receive a bag tag at the Welcome Dinner/registration. Please secure this to your golf bag as soon as you can, as this will allow quicker identification and management of your bag throughout the week.
Bag Storage: Mission Hills will store and deliver your bag to the courses each day and have it waiting on your golf cart. Always remove valuables from your bag before storing it after golf.
TIPPING
- Suggested Tip for the Hotel Bellhop is 10RMB per bag
- For tipping your caddy: A suggested tip of 200RMB per player per day (about $40AUD). For the week, this will be about 800RMB (about $160AUD)
Currency: The Resort and surrounding/adjacent shops all accept Credit Cards. You will likely only need local currency for your /bellhop/caddy tips (see above), incidentals and for any off-site shopping, etc. Note that the resort does NOT have currency exchange, so if you need to swap AUD to RMB, then you will need to do that at the Airport or prior to arriving at the resort.
ATMS: The resort does have an ATM (Admin Building - past the clubhouse in the car park), so you can draw local currency if needed
Hotel and Course Incidentals: At the Resort, you will get a brown "Expenses Book". This is basically similar to a "Charge Card" that you use around the course to pay for any food and drinks, etc. DO NOT LOSE THIS. Please return it to the clubhouse after your round. Charges will be added to your room.
RESORT SHUTTLE AND SHOPPING: There is a free shuttle from the Resort to the MH Mall, which has a variety of shopping options. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes, and takes about 8 minutes to get to the Mall.
- Take Shuttle A from the Resort to the mall. and
- Shuttle B from the Mall to the Resort.
METRO TRAIN: Train Line 4 is the one between Shenzhen and the Resort.
VPN: Note that China has a firewall that restricts many popular websites and Social media channels. If you are investigating a VPN, we have had success with Express VPN. (We have heard reports that Norton VPN does not work)

- Range Balls: RMB 158 for 50 balls and the bay
- Club rental: RMB 400 per set
- Shoes rental: RMB 100 per pair
- Locker: RMB 50 per piece
