Day 1 Rules Sheet

 

Rules of play:

All Play is governed by the Rules of Golf and Decisions established by the RCGA, and, where applicable, by the following Local Rules and Terms of the Competition, subject to changes, additions or deletions for particular tournaments or events. Unless otherwise noted, the penalty for a breach of a Local Rules is the General Penalty. Stroke Play – Two Strokes.

 

 

Teeing Ground – Play is from the RED Tees

 

Rules:

1. OB – marked by White stakes and permanent fence.

2. Summer rules are in effect, do not touch your golf ball.

3. Hole #7 will be lift, clean, place in FAIRWAY CUT ONLY.

4. Drop Zones for balls finding the water on all Par 3’s as well as hole #7 are not in play for this event.

5. Slow Play is strongly discouraged. Pace of play is expected to be 4 hours and 15 minutes. Slow play penalties are at the discretion of the rules committee and can range from 2 shots to disqualification

6. Second Ball Rule 3-3 If in doubt as to correct procedure: *Announce which ball you wish to score with * Play a second ball, holing both balls out * Count strokes with each ball * Ask the rules committee for a ruling before signing your score card.

 

 

All Score Cards must be signed by both the Scorer and the player and turned in immediately following play.
