Local Rules
USGA Rules govern play. A local rules sheet will be available on the 1st tee.
Dress Code
Collared shirts required.
Shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.
General
Cellular telephones may only be used in automobiles.
Pace of play will be monitored, and slow play penalties will be assessed.
Practice Rounds
The course is available for practice rounds on:
May 6th or 7th after 3pm.
Practice round is complimentary. Players may walk or take a golf cart. ($40 cash only) You must call the Starter at 631-665-1710x241 to make a reservation. One round per competitor, no guests allowed.
Practice Range
Range balls are complimentary. The practice range will be open each day at 7:00 AM but may not be used by competitors following their rounds. Keep in mind the maximum shot distance allowed is 240 yards. Hitting balls over the fence may result in disqualification.
Food Service
Coffee and refreshments will be available each morning.
Complimentary lunch (11am-4pm) will be provided to competitors on Thursday, May 8th.
Complimentary lunch will be provided to all match play contestants on Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th.
Senior Division
Players competing in the Senior Division shall play from green tee markers.
Carts/Caddies
Championship Division: No motorized carts will be permitted. Players may bring their own caddie, carry their own bag, or use a club provided pull cart.
Senior Division: Seniors may bring their own caddie, carry their own bag, use a club provided pull cart, or use golf cart.
Pairings/Withdrawals
Match play pairings and starting times will be available by calling the pro shop at 631-665-1710 ext.232 or online at www.shcc1923.com

Play-off
Ties for the last spot(s) in the Championship Division will be decided by a sudden death playoff immediately following regulation play.
Ties for the last spot(s) in the Senior Division will be decided by a match of cards according to USGA guidelines.
