Troon Country Club is thrilled to host the 44th U.S. Mid-Amateur from September 13-September 18, 2025.
This is your opportunity to be part of golf history. We are looking for passionate golfers to join us in providing a warm and enthusiastic welcome to everyone in Scottsdale, Arizona for this championship. The Team Troon Volunteer Program is a group of volunteers that will help the Host Committee by serving as ambassadors in the following key areas.
Forecaddies – Volunteers will be assigned to specific groups to assist players in locating errant shots. This is a walking position. Shifts will be 18 holes, approximate five (5) hours.
Walking Scorers – Volunteers will accompany each group/match to enter scores on a hand-held device for live scoring purposes. Requires walking up to 18 holes.
Interested participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of submission and go through a formal application process. The Host Committee will hold a kickoff event and mandatory role-specific training in September 2025 leading up to the championship.
It is our goal to provide each volunteer with a unique and exciting experience during the championship. Approx. 350 dedicated individuals will comprise the Team Troon Volunteer Program. It costs $99 to be a volunteer.
