It’s time to golf with a cop! The Salt Lake City Police Foundation and Salt Lake City Golf are kicking off the annual Golf with a Cop program, which focuses on building positive relationships between local youth and the Salt Lake City Police Department. Kids ages 6-17 will be organized in groups by age and have the opportunity to learn the game of golf
alongside a SLCPD officer and Utah Section PGA Professional.
The clinics will be held Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Glendale Golf
Course (1630 W 2100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84119). Additionally, clubs will be available for those who do not have their own clubs. The Salt Lake City Police Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, whose mission is to bring together our community and the officers who serve it.
Salt Lake City Junior Golf Clinics offer a high-quality learning experience for juniors of all ability levels. The goal-oriented curriculum provides structure and teaches discipline. The game-based learning environment promises to keep juniors of all ages engaged, build confidence, and most importantly have fun!
The four-day clinic focuses on the fundamentals of the full swing, short game, putting, physical fitness, rules knowledge, course etiquette, honesty, and integrity.
*Participants will be divided into age groups on the first day of class. Please be aware that siblings may be separated based on age.
