Welcome to the President's Cup

The President's Cup, our First Major Tournament of the Season starts June 10th for the  18-Hole division.  A trophy is awarded to the winner at the Fall Banquet.

Eligibility:  A first year member with an active handicap must have played in four (4) club tournaments one week prior to the first major in which they participate.  Returning members with an active handicap have no minimum tournament requirements in order to play.

Cup Format:  Each match consists of two golfers, competing directly against each other. One point is awarded for each hole to the player who has the lowest net score. The match is won by the player who wins the most holes. 

Additional information:

• Anyone can win in this format! Most matches will be played at our normal tournament day times on Tuesdays. You will also be playing in the normal tournament for that day
• Matches will be drawn and tee times assigned for the 1st week of play.
• You will be notified via e-mail as to your opponent and tee time.  
• The chart (bracket) will be posted on the bulletin board.  As you advance, contact your next opponent to arrange a tee time for the following week.
• We ask that you please take no more than 2 weeks to get in each match.  The match can be played on any other day, if need be, but it MUST be played at Tallwood.  Again, we ask that you please be diligent in completing these matches on time.
