Elegibility:

 

An open event for:

 

  Boys & Girls 5 to 18 years old & Undergraduate College Men and Ladies.

 

Entry Requirements and Registration Deadline:

All registration must be completed through the Puerto Rico Junior Tour Golf Genius Portal.

 

Late entries will not be accepted.

FORMAT:

 

The 2025 PRJT Fall Series will play under USGA & R&A Rules of Golf and recently revised decisions. 

 

 

College Men | Boys 14-18  Divisions:
18 Hole Stroke Play Competition. 

Each participant will play walking 18 holes per day. NO Caddies will be allowed in these divisions

 

College Ladies | Girls 14-18 Divisions:

18Hole Stroke Play Competition

Each participant will play walking 18 holes per day. NO Caddies will be allowed in these divisions

 

Boys 11-13 | Girls 11-13
18 Hole Stroke Play Competition. 

Each participant will play walking 18 holes per day. Caddies will be allowed in the 11-13 divisions

 

Prep Series 11-13 | Prep Series 14-18  

18 Hole Stroke Play Competition.

Each Participant will play walking 18 holes per day. Caddies will be allowed in these divisions.

 

Tournament Committee, could alter the amount of holes played per round or have a cut after the first round for the Prep Series Divisions.

 

Boys & Girls 8-10 & Beginner Divisions: 
An 9-hole Stroke Play Competition 

Each participant will play walking 9 holes per day. Caddies are allowed in these categories. 
A maximum score of Triple Bogey per hole has been established for this division. 

 

Boys & Girls 5-7 Division: 
A 6 hole Stroke Play Competition

Each participant will play 6 holes per day riding. Caddies are allowed in this division.

A maximum score of Triple Bogey has been established for this division.

 

CADDIES AND PULL CARTS

Caddies are only allowed on the following divisions: Prep Series 11-13 | Prep Series 14-18 | Boys & Girls 11-13 | Beginners 13&Under | Boys & Girls 8-10 |

Boys & Girls 5-7

Pull carts are allowed in all age divisionsMotorized pull carts are not allowed at any PRJT event.

REFUND POLICY
Open date to one (1) week prior to Championship date:
Full refund minus $95.00 USD administrative fee regardless of reason.

 

Withdraw during the week of the Championship date, late arrival, no-show:

NO REFUND FOR ANY REASON.

 

 

 

CADDIES FOR THE FALL SERIES: 

Caddies will be allowed in the following divisions: 

Boys & Girls 5-7 | Boys & Girls 8-10 | Beginner Boys 11-13 | Beginner Girls 11-13 | Regular Boys & Girls 11-13 | Prep Series 11-13 | Prep Series 14-18

 

Caddies must wear their BIB AT ALL TIMES during the competition. A competitor should identify his/her caddie to an opponent or to the competitor’s marker prior to the start of play. The competitor is responsible for the conduct of the caddie during an event. 

 

CADDIES RESTRICTIONS: For the 2025 season, caddies of the Regular 11-13 Divisions | Prep Series Divisions (18 hole divisions) 

& Beginner Boys 11-13 and Beginner Girls 11-13 ( 9 hole divisions ) , will not be allowed to be with the player once the ball is inside a 30 yard radius of the putting green.  

 

REGISTRATION & SCORING: 

 

Registration will be located in front of the Practice Range.

 

SCORING:

 

Scoring Tent location will be at the on the right side of the 18th hole of the River Course. It is mandatory for all players that once their round is complete, to turn in their scorecards at the scoring tent within 10 minutes of the completion of their round.

 

SCORECARDS:

Players will be required to bring a smart phone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius application (available on iOS or Android) to use for their official scorecard and live scoring during all PRJT events. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Instructions on how to use the app can be found here . Each player will be provided with a GGID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. The player is responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round. 

 

Rules Official Request via Mobile App: Within the Golf Genius Application you will be able to contact a rules official during the round.

 

How to Request a Rules Official (Via the Mobile App):

To request a rules official on the course, follow these directions:

  1. Digital Scorecards: 
    1. Confirm your details.
    2. Click the Hamburger menu button to access the menu.
    3. Tap the "Request Rules Official" button.
  2. Complete the Request Form (as shown below):

Complete the request with the following steps: 

    1. Pairing Group: Select the pairing requesting assistance (applicable where available).
    2. Player: Select the player requesting assistance (applicable where available).
    3. Callback Number: Enter a phone number where the Rules Official can reach you.
    4. Course: Select or confirm the current course.
    5. Hole: Select or confirm the current hole.
    6. Location: Select from the available locations (i.e., Tee, Fairway, Green).
    7. Submit the Request: Tap the "Request Official" button.
  1. The rules official will receive a text message notification so they can respond to the request 

 

After Round Scoring Confirmation: will take place at the PRJT Tent, located on the back tees of hole 1 for round 1 and in practice putting green area for the final round. Players have 10 minutes from the time they finish the round, time begins the moment the flag is placed back in the hole, to come in the scoring tent to confirm the group scores that were entered on the mobile application. 

 


TRANSPORTATION: 

Players and caddies must walk at all times unless authorized by a Rules Official and/or are using the provided shuttle service approved by the Tournament Committee . 

 

SPECTATORS:

Spectators will be allowed to rent a golf cart. Golf cart rental is upon availability and discretion of the host golf club. 

Spectator carts must remain ahead of their group and remain on the cart path at all times.

 

With the exception of caddies, all spectators need to stay out of the fairways and off of greens and tees during play. It is ok to gather near tee and greens to watch, but we ask that they stay on the cart paths or rough while walking the course.

Spectators may not interact with participants at any time on the golf course, except in the case of an emergency. Any conversation between a spectator and participant will be subject to penalty under Rule 10.2 (Advice).

  • Only exceptions allowing spectators to interact with players during a round include handing them sunscreen, food, beverage, or any health emergency.  This should always be done in front of another spectator or tournament official.

Any time a player takes a ride from a spectator that is unauthorized, he/she will incur a 2-stroke penalty. In the event of a course evacuation for inclement weather, spectators can shuttle players to safety. 

Spectators will be subject to removal from the golf course for the following breaches of etiquette:    

  • Repeat offenses of interacting with players after being warned by Tournament Committee
  • Rude, vulgar or other inappropriate comments or gestures.
  • Verbal or physical harassment of players, volunteers, officials or fellow spectators.
  • Distracting a player or causing any disruption of play.
  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, unsafe or illegal in nature.
  • Failing to follow the instructions of a PRJT Tournament Committee official, volunteer or host personnel.

 

 

TIES: 

In the event of a tie for first place, a sudden death playoff will be played on hole 18 until a winner is declared. If hole 18 is not available, another playoff hole will be determined by the committee. Any other ties will be determined by matching of cards going from the most to the least difficult hole of the course. 

 

 


AWARDS: 

College Men | College Ladies | Boys 16-18 | Boys 14-15 | Boys 11-13 |Girls 14-18 | Girls 11-13 | Prep Series Divisions:

The Winner, the Runner-up, and the Second Runner Up for each division will be awarded right after all participants of the division conclude their final round and the scores are officially certified by the Tournament Committee.

 

Beginner Divisions | Boys & Girls 8-10 | Boys & Girls 5-7 : 

The, Winners, Runner Up, Second Runner Up, Fourth and Fifth Place finishers will be awarded after all participants of the division conclude their final round and the scores are officially certified by the Tournament Committee.
