    1. Golf Ireland reserves the right to adjust results where the imposition of automatic or manually-imposed penalty scores is driving the improvement of a golfer.
    2. Players are free to post any number of General Play or Competition Scores without restriction. However, in all of the above mentioned categories except 4(d) and 4(h), where a player has posted four or more General Play scores in their last 20 rounds and where the player’s scoring average in General Play in those circumstances is more than 2.0 strokes better than their scoring average in Competition, Golf Ireland will make an adjustment in accordance with the procedure which is already established for Championship Balloting, and which can be viewed here.
  7. In the event of a tie between two players for the Most Improved Golfer title in any of the eight sections, this will be resolved in the first instance on the basis of the level of Handicap Index improvement recorded by both players between 30 June and 17 August. If there is still a tie, this will be resolved on the basis of said improvement between 31 July and 17 August.
  8. Decisions on all matters relating to this competition, including those which are not covered by the preceding points, are a matter for the Competition Committee, whose decision is final.
