CKCC Club Championship

July 19th & 20th

Format: 36 hole Stroke Play

Scoring: Please review below to ensure your card is filled out correctly.

  • Each player will be given their own card on check-in.
    • On the first tee-box, please swap your cards.
    • Track your score in the “Markers Notes” line of the scorecard and track the score of the person whose card you have on the line with their name.
    • At the end of the round, check your cards with the rest of your group for accuracy then sign and turn in at the scoring table.
  • Circle birdies, double circle eagles, DO NOT mark any other score type.

Side Competition:

  • Skins - $10 per person, Men's and Ladies skins will be separate.
    •  Skins are birdies or better.  All non-covered skins will pay. 

Pace of Play: The goal is a 4.5 hour round.

Tees: See next to your name for your tees. If it is incorrect, talk to the Pro Shop.

Local Rules: Please review the following carefully.

  • All USGA rules apply unless directly contradicted by a local rule listed below…
  • All putts must be holed, no gimmies.
  • Free lift, clean, and place (1 foot) through your own fairway.
    • The collar and apron ARE NOT considered fairway.
    • You may not lift, clean, and place while on the collar or apron.
  • Free lift, clean, and drop  (1 foot) from any ground under repair agreed upon within your playing group.
  • Ladies only: On #17 If your ball goes in the hazard on at least your second shot you may use the drop area on the other side. You would be hitting at least 4.
  • Naturalized/unmaintained areas of the course are now considered to be lateral/water hazards. 
    • If a hazard exists because of a water feature, treat it as a water hazard.
    • If a hazard exists because of a forested area or un-mowed field, treat it as a lateral hazard.
  • Out of Bounds areas are as follows…
    • Behind #1 Green
    • Left side of #5 down toward Green
    • Behind #12 Green
    • Right side of #13
    • Across any town or state highway

Rules Questions: The committee will resolve any rules questions!

  • Do not dispose of this rules sheet, we will not be re-printing tomorrow as the rules will not change!
