Each player receives 85% course handicap allowance.
The maximum aggregate combined handicap index for a pair to be 40.0 on the day of entry.
Eligibility
This competition will be played under the R&A Rules of Amateur Status (Jan 2022).
Entry is open to Amateur male members over the age of 55 on the day of competition.
Entrants must be members of Golf Clubs affiliated to Worcestershire County Golf Ltd,
Pairings do not have to come from the same club.
Entry Requirements and Dates
To be played at Cleobury Mortimer GC on the Thursday, June 18, 2026
Entry Fee £40.
Payment is required at time of entry. Where payment is not received entries will not be accepted..
Entry will be accepted online only.
Entry will close on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 01:00 AM
Tee times will start from 0830. Players may request an early or late tee using the registration form, Tee times cannot be guaranteed and may be changed to ensure the tee sheet viability; any changes will be minimised.
Trophies & Ties.
The John Wharrad Claret Jugs will be won by the pair with the best Gross Score.
The Aberdovey Salvers will be won by the pair with the best Nett Score.
There will be other gross and nett prizes.
In the event of a tie the pair with the better or best score on countback (over 9. 6 or 3 holes) will be declared the winners.
When the Result is Confirmed
A score will be considered returned once it has been placed in the provided box.
The result will be announced on the day of the competition after all the scorecards have been returned, checked, and verified.
A player may win any or all trophies and their prizes. A player who has won a trophy cannot win a non-trophy prize. A player may win only one non-trophy prize.
