1. How and when to register for a spring or fall league? -  

Registration links go live on the Baltimore League homepage MARCH 1 for each spring season and August 1 for the fall season.  The Baltimore league typically sells out in less than one week.  

 

2. What is a GGID? -  

The Golf Genius ID code is used specifically for the Golf Genius Mobile Application. GGIDs are used to create digital scorecards to keep scores for each round on a mobile device. They can also find specific league information, i.e., tee times, pairings, results, etc.

 

3. How do you register for each event? -

Golf Genius sends email invitations. Reply YES or NO. You can update your status at any time in Golf Genius. 

 

When are tee times & pairings released for each event? -

Tee Times & Pairings are sent 48 hours before each event.  Anticipated starting times by division:

  • Boys & Girls 12-14 - 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
  • Boys & Girls 9-11 - 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Boys & Girls 6-8 - 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Boys & Girls 15-18 - 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Back Nine)

 

How do you register for each event? -

Are caddies allowed? -

Caddies are permitted for all divisions EXCEPT Boys & Girls 15-18.  

 

How many holes does each division play? -

All divisions play nine holes.

 

Do host venues offer spectator carts, range balls, or F&B -

Host venues determine all of the above.  Event notifications are sent 3-5 days before each event to confirm what the host facilities provide.  

 

What is a "birdie chip" and how are they distributed - 

Following your round, report to the scorers table to cash in on your group's birdie chips earned by:

1. NEW - any birdie in the group earn ALL players a $5 birdie chip (eagles are worth 2 chips)

2. If no birdies are made in a grouping - 3 consecutive pars may also earn a birdie chip for each player in the group

3. Personal best scores for the season will individual player chips

5. Birdie chips are redeemable towards UAJT merchandise and are not redeemable for cash.
