STONEHEDGE GOLF CLUB - Local Rules

 

1. USGA Rules govern all play except where modified by local rules.

SUMMER RULES / WINTER RULES - TO BE DETERMINED ON DAY OF EVENT (WEATHER CONDITIONS)

2-day Stroke Play event. All flights

SATURDAY - All play is from WHITE TEES, players 65 and older can elect to move to GOLD TEES but withdraw themselves from Championship Flight.

SUNDAY - Championship Flight Plays Blue tees, All other flights Play White or Gold tees.

2. Any ball determined to have left the golf course is considered out of bounds. That is, any ball resting on, or over the road on hole number 1,      9, 10 or 11 shall be considered Out of Bounds.

3. If there is a tie to determine the overall champion, a sudden death playoff will be held starting on hole #1. All other positions will be settled by a match of cards, starting with Sunday's gross score.

4. Lift, clean, rake and place in all bunkers. ·

5. The back right section of #14 green is considered ground under repair. Players are entitled to free relief, no closer to the hole if it interferes with the shot/stance.

6. Embedded ball rule in effect through the green.

7. Any seeded area in your own fairway or rough and any area where a tree has been removed in your own fairway or rough is considered GUR. Take relief 1 club length no closer to the hole.

* All seeded areas in all woods is not considered GUR. Play as is.

8. Any seeded area defined inside a marked hazard area is not considered GUR.

9. All extensions from cart paths are considered part of the path and relief may be taken.

10. Hole #6 -Stone wall on right side denotes out of bounds, A ball coming to rest in the drainage-ditch down the left side is entitled to relief. 1 club length no closer to hole.

11. Hole #13, 15 - Right side of cart path - play as is.

12. If there are any discrepancies, please play 2 balls. Record the score you would like to keep from each outcome and a ruling will be determined by the Golf Professional Staff.
