Format including Handicap Allowance
Individual 36 holes scratch Strokeplay event.
On the day of competition course handicaps will be limited to the maximum HI limit (6.4). If there is a ballot for entry, the HI (≤ 6.4) at the time of the ballot will be used.
Eligibility
This competition will be played under the R&A Rules of Amateur Status (Jan 2022).
Only amateur male members of Golf Clubs affiliated to Worcestershire County Golf Ltd. (WCG) are eligible to enter the competition.
Entry Requirements and Dates
To be played at Moseley Goff Club on Wednesday, June 10, 2026
Entry is limited to players with a handicap index of 6.4 or less. Entries are restricted to the 54 lowest EXACT HANDICAP INDEX players on the last date for entries – there will be a ballot on ties if necessary.
Entries may only be made online.
The entry fee required at time of entry and includes a light lunch - entries without payment will not be accepted.

Trophies & Ties
The Centenary Putter to be awarded to the competitor with the best aggregate gross score over 36-holes. In the event of a tie for The Centenary Putter there will be a play-off on the same course, and on the same day, over nominated holes by “sudden death”.
The competitor with the best aggregate 36-hole nett score will be awarded the Philip Padmore Trophy.
The competitor aged U21 as at 1st January 2026, with the best aggregate 36 hole gross score will be awarded the Youth Trophy.
The G. D. Carr Cup, which qualifies as a 54-hole World Ranking event, will be awarded to the competitor who records the best gross 54-hole aggregate score, (combined score from the Individual and Team County Championships).
In the event of a tie for the G.D. Carr Cup, the Philip Padmore Trophy or the Youths’ Championship - then the competitor with the better or best score on countback over the last 18, 9, 6 or 3 holes will be declared the winner.
A competitor may win any or all trophies and their prizes. A player who has won a trophy cannot win a non-trophy prize. A player may win only one non-trophy prize

Additional Information
The leading 4 competitors will qualify to play in the Worcestershire Matchplay Championship.
Under the direction of the Championship Committee, the winner of The Centenary Putter will represent Worcestershire in the England Golf County Champion of Champions Tournament.
