Member Eligibility: You must be an Eagle Member to participate in this event. Birdie Members can be brought as guests as they are not eligible to be the Member in the event.
Tournament Format
There will be five 9-hole matches. Each 9-hole match will be net match play at 90% handicaps off the low player in the match. Each team will play against every other team in its flight. All play will be played from the Blue and White tees. Each player chose their tee at registration.
Handicaps
All golfers’ handicaps will be determined by using the lowest index for each player from June 1st until August 25th, 2025. This low handicap index will be used for the entire weekend, including the Championship shootout.
Scoring For the 9-Hole Matches
Flight winners will be the teams with the highest point total for the five matches. Each match is worth 9 points.
1 point for winning a hole
½ point for tying hole 0 points for a loss
Low Net Score Wins Hole
In the case of a tie for flight winners, three tie-breaking methods have been established to decide the winner. This will allow the Championship Shootout to begin promptly.
1st tie break – Head-to-Head point total
2nd tie break – last 9 holes within that match, 18 back to 10 or 9 back to 1
3rd tie break – Chip off
There will be one wild card winner to make the playoffs.
This will be the team with the most points in all other flights, that isn’t a flight winner. In event of a tie, the wildcard winner would be determined by the following.
1st Tiebreaker – Points earned in match 5
2nd Tiebreaker – Points earned in match 4
3rd Tiebreaker – Points earned in match 3
4th Tiebreaker - Points earned in match 2
5th Tiebreaker - Points earned in match 1
6th Tiebreaker – Chip off!
Championship Shootout
All flight champions at the end of 45 holes of play will qualify for the overall championship, plus one wild card team. 13 total teams. All play from the blue tees, handicaps will be adjusted accordingly.
Where: Holes 10 & 18 (Max of 4 Holes)
Format: The format is true alternate shot, net. Each team can choose who they want to tee off and then alternate from there. Regardless of who finishes the putt on the first hole, whoever doesn’t tee off on the first hole must hit the tee shot on the second hole.
How to Win: If at any point a team has the lowest score, then they will win the shootout. Additional holes may still need to be played to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the parimutuel betting. Each hole played, the lowest score and ties will move on to the next hole. Anyone higher than that score will be eliminated. We will play a maximum of 4 holes. If 1st, 2nd, and 3rd have not be determined in 4 holes. Then we will move to a closest to the pin contest with shots being taken from the 10 Green Tees and hit to the 18th Green. Both golfers from each team will be able to hit this shot.
Hole 1: Hole #10
Hole 2: Hole #18
Hole 3: Hole #10
Hole 4: Hole #18
Handicap strokes will be awarded for the shootout by the following procedure: All competing teams will be given a team handicap that will be 50% of their combined handicaps. From there, a playing handicap will be given off the lowest team handicap in the shootout. For example, if the team from flight 1 is a +1 handicap, and the team from flight 5 is a 10 handicap, the team from flight 5’s playing handicap will be 11 (this is the same procedure for all matches over the weekend.)
Once playing handicaps are established, strokes will be allocated based on stroke index of holes 10 and 18. Hole 10 is the 10th handicap hole and Hole 18 is the 14th handicap hole. Teams that have a playing handicap of 10 or higher will receive a stroke on hole 10, and teams with a playing handicap of 14 or higher will receive a stroke on hole 18.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the championship shootout, 1st and 2nd place in each flight, and daily pro shop action for each day of the event.
