It is time for our next major for the year, the 2025 Individual Match Play Championship. This tournament works similar to the Partners Extravaganza, where the matches will be played with about 3 week increments on your own. There will be optional first round tee times on September 6th.

 

Here are the details, please read ALL of them carefully before entering:

 

WHERE: Santa Anita Golf Course

 

WHAT: 2025 Match Play Championship will be played with (2) bracketed flights depending on handicaps, President and Vice President. The format is Net Single Elimination Match Play.

WHEN: First Round matches must be played before September 27th. The club will have available tee times at 7:00 am on 9/6 for 1st round matches, first come first served. Every round after that will be scheduled and played on your own within a 3-week window, with the tournament ending in late-November.

 

Please DO NOT sign up if you have long term conflicts in that time frame.

ELIGIBILITY: Each player must be in good standing with the club and have participated in (3) Club Index Events in the previous 12 months.

COST: $50 plus each round's green fees. To secure your spot, please send in your money ASAP. There are only 64 spots and first paid get in. You will pay when you sign up.

BRACKET: Both brackets will be posted as soon as the first 64 players are paid. Sign up and pay right away; this is a popular event and will sell out very quickly.

SIGNUP: Signups are now live on Golf Genius. Go to Events and Click on Indvidual Match Play

Once again, please double check your calendars before you sign up to make sure you are available to play. After the first round, each match will have 3 weeks to complete that round. It really makes no sense to have only a couple days in those windows available to play because of personal, work or vacation schedules.
