CIGA 2025 Junior Skills Challenge
What a day!
Thank you for braving the early hours and heat to join our first CIGA Junior Skills Challenge yesterday. It was great to see many familiar faces as well as the enthusiasm of many newer players. We had hoped for a skills challenge for years and are so excited that it came together. We had a field of 60 juniors and look forward to the continued development of our junior members.
The morning wouldn't have been possible without our sponsor - The Ritz Carlton Golf Club. Thank you to their entire team for their generous support of junior golf, through the allocation of time, support and guidance leading up to and during the event. A quick shout out to remember them for junior golf attire or accessories (gloves, balls, umbrellas, etc) in the lead up to the holiday season.
And to our team of volunteers, thank you for bringing smiles to so many faces over the course of the morning. Finally, a big note of thanks to Justin Hastings, Aaron Jarvis, and Andrew Jarvis who graciously and personally encouraged the competitors. We really appreciate the time spent for photos, autographs and chats with the juniors.

Calling all Junior Golfers!
Join us for an exciting and challenging Skills Challenge sponsored by the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman.
Saturday, September 27
7 am until 10 am
Ritz Carlton Golf Club
Start times will be by age and announced on Thursday, Sept 25
Juniors will compete in Driving, Chipping and Putting
Boys and Girls Divisions
Ages 7-18
Prizes will be awarded for each skill by age and overall by age.
(we expect to have five age flights depending on registration)
Event is free for CIGA Junior Members. $10 for non-members (payable that morning)
Membership ($60) is available for the remainder of 2025. Message for details.
Limited to 60 juniors so register early.
