Format including Handicap Allowance
Individual Strokeplay over 9, 18 or 36 holes.
Boys handicap limits:
U18’s & U16’s 18.4 and below.
U14’s 28.4 and below.
9-hole competitions 28.5 and above.
Girls handicap limits:
36-hole competitions - 20.4 and below
18-hole competitions - 36.4 and below
9-hole competitions - 36.5 to 54 and non-hcps.
Playing handicaps will be 95% of course handicaps.
Eligibility
All players must be U18 on 1st January in the year the competition is played.
This competition will be played under the R&A Rules of Amateur Status.
Only amateur players of Golf Clubs affiliated to Worcestershire County Golf Ltd or Worcestershire & Herefordshire Ladies Golf Association are eligible to enter the competition.
Entry Requirements
Entry for the 36-hole competitions will be restricted to the 50 lowest exact handicap indices.
Online entry only - payment is required at time of entry. Where payment is not received entries will not be accepted.

Trophies & Ties.
Boys:
The Mansell Cup will be awarded to the player with the Best 36 Hole Gross Score in the U18 Championship and will be the Worcestershire County Champion.
The U16 player with the best 36-hole gross score in the U16 championship will be the U16 Champion and will be awarded The Brian Peplow Trophy.
In the event of a tie for the Mansell Cup or Brian Peplow Trophy there will be an immediate play-off over holes nominated by the Championship Committee on a sudden death basis.
The player with the Best 36 Hole Nett Score in the U18 Championships will be awarded the Rigbey Cup.
The U16 player with the best 36-hole gross score in the U16 Championships will be the U16 Champion and will be awarded The Brian Peplow Trophy.
The U14 player with the best 18-hole gross score in the U14 Championships will be the U14 Champion and be awarded The Jim Gray Trophy.
There are other Gross and Nett Prizes
For all prizes other than the Mansell Cup and Brian Peplow Trophy the competitor with the better or best gross or nett score from the last 18 (for 36-holes), 9, 6, 3 or final hole will be declared the winner.
Girl’s:
The girl with the lowest gross score over 36 holes will be the Worcestershire & Herefordshire County Champion and awarded the Best Gross Trophy.
The girl the best nett score over 36 holes will be awarded the Byte Shop Trophy.
The Stableford Silver Plate will be awarded to the girl with the winning Stableford score over 18 holes.
The 9-hole Rose Bowl will be awarded to the girl with the lowest nett score.
Any ties in Girl’s competitions will be decided on count back over the last 18, 9, 6, 3 or final hole
Other:
The lowest gross and net scores in round 1 (boys and girls) will qualify for the Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Golf Championship. Ties will be decided on countback over the last 18 (36-holes), 9, 6, 3 or final hole.
When the Result is Confirmed
A score will be considered returned once it has been placed in the box provided.
The result will be announced on the day of the competition after all the scorecards have been returned, checked, and verified.
A boy may win any or all trophies and their prizes. A boy who has won an individual trophy cannot win an individual non-trophy prize. A boy may win a team prize in addition to an individual prize.
A girl can win 2 trophies but will be awarded only 1 prize voucher, with prize vouchers not awarded being given to the next placed players.
Terms
Entrants must complete a consent form within 5 days of the competition date. Forms will not be required from Juniors who are members of WCG and WHLCG teams and/or have already completed consent forms within12 months. A form link will be sent to entrants as required.

Players should make themselves aware of the WCG Pace of Play and Transport policies and the WCG Code of Conduct for participants.

Practice rounds, subject to availability, may be booked by contacting the host club.
Where 3 or more players have nominated the same club as their 'Home' club on WHS a team will automatically compete for the Mirams Salver:
A team of 3 players will be entered from the 3 lowest HI’s (on day of competition).
The winning Club will be the Team with the lowest three Nett 36-hole Aggregate scores.
The winning Club will be invited to represent Worcestershire in the England Golf Junior Champion Club Tournament.
Under the direction of the Championship Committee, the U18 Champion Boy and Girl will be invited to represent Worcestershire Boys or Worcestershire and Herefordshire Girls in the England Golf Junior Champion of Champions Tournament,
Under the direction of the Championship Committee, the U18 Champion Boy and Girl, U16 Champion Boy and Girl & U14 Champion Boy and Girl will be invited to represent Worcestershire Boys or Worcestershire and Herefordshire Girls in the Midland Golf Union Junior Champion of Champions Tournament,
The 4 Boys with the best 36-hole gross scores will qualify to play in the Worcestershire Boys' Matchplay Championships.
