Description: Team Quota Points

This event is a two-person team event. You and your partner each will play your own ball to try to break your set quota. See the example below as how team quota works:

 

Take you and your partners combined handicaps and add them together. That number is then subtracted from a quota number (typically 36).  Each score on a hole would be given a points value (for example: eagles worth 8, birdies worth 5, pars worth 2, bogeys worth 1). The goal is to finish with your total team points exceeding your set quota.

 

As an example Player A and Player B combine for a total 10 handicap. Their quota would be set at 26 points (36-10). They go and play and play well and end up with 42 points. Their score would be 16 points (42-26). The the group with the highest points over their set quota would win.

 

This event will be handicapped. We ask that you enter your handicap information at time of registration as well as your guest if you are bringing one with you. If your guest does not have an active handicap or maintains it through something besides GHIN, please call the golf shop so we can assist in getting the information needed for them to participate.

 

Prizes will be paid out in golf shop credit book for highland springs members, and a gift certificate for a guest.
