Golf Canada rules of golf shall apply with the following exceptions:
Local rules
- - Stones in sand traps are movable obstructions and may be removed.
- In any sand trap, player has the option prior to playing, to rake the bunker and place the ball to create a lie if required (remaining in the bunker).
2. Ground under repair: All areas defined by white lines. If there are signs indicating ground under repair you do not have the option of playing from the GUR.
- No relief from bark chips.
3. Tree Roots: If your ball ends up on a root or stump from a removed tree or close enough to a root that it will affect your swing in rough or fairway, you are allowed to move your ball one foot no nearer the hole.
- Place your ball so your swing will not be affected.
- This is not intended to improve direction of shot but to prevent injury or possible club damage
4. Obstructions: All control stations, pump house, sprinkler heads, valve boxes and yardage plates in the center of the fairway. Relief may be obtained from interference with the player’s stance or the area of his intended swing but not his line of play.
5. The PAGCC building, patio, deck and cart path shall be considered immoveable obstructions. Relief may be taken in the drop area right of the 11th green.
6. The bay for carts, Pro Shop building and practice putting green, are considered immovable obstructions. Relief may be taken in the marked area beside the practice putting green.
7. Out of bounds: These are defined by the inside edge of the white posts at ground level. All permanent fences define out of bounds. White posts, defining out of bounds, and permanent fences are not obstructions.
8. Penalty Areas: Red painted lines or red stakes define the penalty area on holes #3, #5, and #12. On #12 players have the option to play from the drop area or within 2 club lengths no nearer the hole from where the ball last crossed the margin of the penalty area, with a penalty of one stroke. The right trees on # 12 are now part of the penalty area.
9. Please wave up on Hole #16 when on the green to allow group behind you to tee off, all three days.
10. Tees: (Saturday) Black Northern tee markers are to be used on Saturday by all golfers.
Match Play:
- Championship, 1st and 2nd Flight play from Black Northern tee markers.
- Flights 3, 4, 5, and 6 will play from Blue Tee Markers.
