2026 Northern General Information

 

• Any player failing to play a match will be subject to a 1 year suspension from The Northern
  • It is the intention for each and every player to play a minimum 3 rounds (Qualifier, Match 1 and Match 2)
  • Semi-Finals and Finals are scheduled for Monday August 3^rd

 

• ESC (Equitable Stroke Control) may be applied to players qualifying outside of the top 32 scores from Saturday’s Qualifying Round
  • Championship Flight (Low 16 Scores)
    • Ties for Championship Flight will be broken using playoff format Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:30pm
  • Golf Genius tie breaking rules will be applied to all flights from 1^st to 6^th to determine flight order

 

• We will be utilizing Golf Genius software for live scoring during Qualifying Round as well as all Match Play rounds
  • Please download the Golf Genius App and familiarize yourself with how to utilize the app for your group

 

• • The Northern Calcutta Friday evening in Rock & Iron Lounge approximately 7:30pm

 

• • Playoffs if required at approximately 3:30pm 1^st Tee
    • Low Qualifier
    • Championship Flight (low 16)

 

• • Long Drive Competition: 1^st Tee Saturday evening at approximately 5:00pm
  • Mitch Dunning will be providing entertainment on the Deck at the Rock & Iron after Long Drive Competition
  • Gift Card for Weekend will be provided at 1^st Tee Saturday

 

• • Lunch Sunday between 1^st and 2^nd Matches in the Rock and Iron Lounge

 

• • Sunday Match Play Round #1 Shotgun Start @ 7:00am

 

• • Sunday Match Play Round #2 Shotgun Start @ 1:30pm

 

• • Monday Match Play Round #3 (Semi-Finals) Shotgun Start @ 7:00am

 

• • Monday Match Play (Finals) All Flights Tee Times off of #1 Tee

 

 

• Prize presentation immediately following the Championship Final match on Monday afternoon in the Rock and Iron Lounge.
