ENTRY FEE

 

  • The entry fee for the Golf NS #GolfBeattieStrong Men's Senior Championship is $260.00 CAD / Player (HST included)
  • One practice round and a warm-up bag of range balls for each day of the competition is included with your entry fee.
  • A $25 food voucher is also included with your entry fee.
  • Cart rentals are to be booked through the host club.

 

ENTRY DEADLINE

 

  • Registration Opens:   April 7th, 2026 at 9:00am
  • Registration Deadline:   July 15th, 2026 at 9:00pm

 

Exemptions: The top 60 players plus ties from the 2025 Golf NS #GolfBeattieStrong Men's Senior Championship have earned an early registration exemption in the 2026 Golf NS #GolfBeattieStrong Men's Senior Championship. The last 5 champions have also earned the same exemption.  All early registration-exempt players will be able to register for the 2026 Golf NS #GolfBeattieStrong Men's Senior Championship as of March 16, 2026 at 9:00am.

 

Waitlist:  If the field is full (144) we encourage you to register for the waitlist. A player's credit card will only be charged once they are accepted into the event.

 

Note:   Golf Nova Scotia reserves the right to extend the registration period.

 

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS

 

  • All players who are registering for the 2026 Golf NS #GolfBeattieStrong Men’s Senior Championship on April 3, 2026, will be placed into PENDING STATUS until April 16, 2026.  

  • All players who earned an early registration exemption by placing in the top 60 at the 2025 Golf NS #GolfBeattieStrong Men’s Senior Championship are eligible to register for the event on March 16 at 9:00 am and will be accepted into the event immediately. Out-of-province players who have earned an early registration exemption are eligible for early registration.

  • Registrations will be ACCEPTED on a first-come-first-served basis (day and time of registration). Once the field is full (144), remaining registrations will be placed on a WAITLIST. We encourage all players who wish to play in the event to register immediately following registration opening on March 30th at 9:00 am. 

  • Five (5) out-of-province players will be accepted into the event, including the players who have earned an exemption. Out-of-province players will be eligible for the waitlist.

 

 

ELIGIBILITY

 

  • Senior Division:  This competition is open to male amateur golfers who are 55 or older as of August 5th, 2026
  • Super Senior Division:  This competition is open to male amateur golfers who are 65 or older as of August 5th, 2026.
  • Handicap Index must be active & updated on the date of the application filing and at the registration deadline. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure their Handicap Index is up to date before the registration deadline. 
  • This competition is open to male golfers who are members of a golf club belonging to Golf Canada or holds a Public Player membership with Golf Canada. All players must be members in good standing with their respective associations.
  • This event is a counting event for the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR).
  • Any player who has a disability or medical condition that alters their ability on the golf course, please let Golf Nova Scotia know following your registration.
